My experience has taken me through multiple treatment environments and modalities. Most recently I was an EAP Counselor and sat on the Workplace Violence Prevention Team and the Director of a CARE Team and Threat Assessment Team at state universities in California.
As the Director of Threat Assessment I ran a Behavioral Intervention Team that’s primary responsibility was to address emerging individuals who exhibited concerning behavior and to design programs to prevent these incidents from occurring in the first place. Using technology, specialized training from the National Behavioral Intervention Team Association (NaBITA) and the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) I conducted threat assessments of University Population individuals and used my Forensic Psychology knowledge to craft interventions and reduce risk to the staff and students on campus.
I currently consult on these issues and would be happy to discuss any particular cases, issues, or programs you might be developing on your campus or in your workplace.
